The team

We are each very passionate about what we do. Collectively, we represent decades of experience and success in wedding planning, event design, catering and wedding cakes, photography, graphic design and printing. Normally based out of NYC, current circumstances have brought most of us to shelter full-time at our Hudson Valley homes. It is a confluence of events that has made it possible for us to create a very unique opportunity for engaged NY couples, offering them a special way to marry and capitalize on our expertise, talents and support – Elope Hudson Valley.

Wedding Cake and Ceramics

Margaret Braun

Margaret Braun is a New York based artist and pioneering cake designer. Her boundary breaking work in the sugar arts, mixed with her love for adventure and travel has taken her around the world; from a Royal Wedding in the Middle East with 2,000 cakes, to a Masquerade Ball in a Venetian Palazzo with a Sugar Mosaic Centerpiece, to a Rock Star’s Goth Wedding in an Irish Castle. With so many exciting years in the wedding Industry, her recent transition to hand-built, piped & gilded porcelain tableware and sculpture makes perfect sense. Always the cake designer, Margaret now enjoys the intimacy of working on smaller, more personal projects. Author of Cakewalk (Rizzoli), Margaret and her work have been featured extensively in print and film.
